That Foggy Place

Happy Valentine's Day!!! With prayer we can always bless others and show them how much we do love them whether it is behind closed doors, at great distances, hand in hand, or in small groups.  With grateful hearts may we be able to continue to give great love to others through our prayers.  May the love of God continue to bless you and keep you, may God's love shine down upon you and give you peace. On a more personal note on prayer, the article below may help us all to find a piece of God's heart. He desires to continue to build upon your relationship with Him, so please do enjoy the misty foggy place in whatever form it may be for you in this season. That Foggy Place Written by Maylee Chang An element of nature once unappreciated has become one of quiet beauty for me: fog .  It can be a nuisance when one is on the run desiring to get from one point to the other.  However, if one slows down to assess the scene, suddenly there’s definition, formulati...

Stay On Course

I once had a vision that I was in a small sailboat and I was cruising in the misty calm fog with a small crew.  All we had was to rely on the navigator who was not in the boat with us to guide us to our destination.  That vision made me realized that the Navigator was the Spirit in my life.  This week I've been praying for many things, people, and organizations that I am familiar with, extending out to the people that they all serve.  In the end all I wanted was for the Spirit to guide us into the will of the Father and to stay true to what he's brought us to and onward.  The next morning I got an email from a good friend of mine.  I thought for this weeks journal entry I would share what she shared with me.  I took it straight to heart knowing that God has plans and its up to us to follow His commands even in the simple things of daily life. -your prayer coordinator Stay the Course written by Vanyda Kheiv  an encouragement to her brot...

Journal Resources to the Right

Just a quick note for those who want to individually expand in their knowledge of prayer, and intercession.  There is a navigation bar (nav bar) to the far right of this online journal.  Links, Books, and Inspirational Verses for you to use as a tool. Here is a  new resource that would help those who have a heart to pray for the 1040 window: global north and global south.  Here we all can be in prayer with others on YouTube through the organization Operation World .  This is now in our "Links" tab on the nav bar.  This resource was found on the Passion for the Nation Website .  (under Media).  This is one of their resources that they are providing for those interested in prayer and intercession for the nations.  Operation World is a prayer guide for the unreached countries, at the end of each prayer video, there are bullet points of prayer requests and facts of each country that is being uplifted.  This is also a good tool for those lo...

Silence is a Strong Action

There are two ways to be silent. One is with choice to inactive, and the other is to be active.  Why do we think that when we are silent we are weak.  Is that the necessary case.  It isn't always the smartest strategy to speak out quickly.  There are times when silence becomes the strongest action that is initially taken.    When we are silent we are using our strongest tool that the Father gave us.  No one can stop you from praying, hoping, or believing.  If anyone has ever though that you were too silent they should have thought twice; rather they should have asked, "What have you been praying about, what have you been praying for, and what/whom have you been interceding for?"   When we are silent before the Lord all of a sudden our hearts are available to listen to the words that the Father speaks.  Our hearts are positioned to be ready and available for instruction and discernment.  We gain confidence through silen...

Be Prayer, Is Prayer.

This prayer journal entry is inspired by teachers, by ministry leaders, and missionaries. -I've heard a few stories that I was just not okay with recently.  It was enough for me to re-evaluate how IS prayer playing a role in my life to be intentional for the people that I see, hear, spend quality time with, serve with, and respond to.  -One was from a teacher in my small group, "  I don't like to think about the current events happening around the nation about guns occurring at schools because I never thought that I was working in an career where I would be putting my life on the line."  It was her way of saying I can go to work because I don't think too much into the fact that I am putting my life on the line.  She was saying if I think about it too much, I wouldn't be a teacher. Then recently I saw a post on my FB wall about a teacher friend of mine where a student brought a gun onto campus. -I saw am seeing more activism for women in ministry, I am ...
